Good to know
No e-Visa needed. You don't need an e-Visa to visit on a US, UK, Irish, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand passport. Ignore websites that offer to sell you one. The official e-Visa site is evisa.gov.tr.
Two passports don't double your days. If you hold two passports, you can't stay 90 days on each. The 90 days in any 180 covers you, not the passport.
Get stamped in and out. Make sure your passport is stamped when you arrive and when you leave, including on boat trips to nearby islands. Without an entry stamp you can't fly within Turkey, and a missing stamp can mean a fine.
Antiques can't leave the country. Taking antiquities out of Turkey is a crime that can mean prison. If you buy old items, use authorised dealers and keep the receipt and museum certificate for each one.
