UK passport to Mexico
UK citizens don't need a visa to visit Mexico as tourists. The immigration officer decides how many days you can stay, up to 180.
The rules
- What you need
- No visa
- How long you can stay
- Up to 180 days per visit, but the officer decides. Your days are shown by a passport stamp or an e-gate ticket. Ask for the days you need and check them before you leave the desk. You can't extend your stay from inside Mexico, so ask for enough days when you arrive.
- Your passport
- Your passport must be valid for your whole stay. The Mexican Embassy in the UK recommends at least 180 days' validity.
- Arrival card
- Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM). If you fly in, there's no form to fill in. Your passport is stamped, or an e-gate gives you a printed ticket, and you can download the digital FMM (FMMd) from the INM site afterwards. If you cross by land, fill in the FMM online and have it stamped at the border. Official site
