Only changing planes in Brazil? You don't need a visa to change planes in Brazil if you stay in the international transit area and both flights are on one booking. With separate tickets, or if you have to go through passport control, you need the e-visa. See the rules for changing planes.

- Are you taking any medicines with you, including cold, flu, allergy or pain remedies? If yes: Bring prescriptions for your medicinesBring your prescription or a letter from your doctor, keep medicines in their original packs in your hand luggage, and bring only enough for your trip. Health inspectors can check them when you arrive.

Good to know
Get your entry stamp. Check that the officer stamps your passport when you arrive. Without a stamp you can be fined when you leave. Overstaying means a fine for each extra day.
Have proof of your plans. Border officers can ask to see a ticket out of Brazil, where you're staying, and proof you can pay for your trip, such as recent bank statements.
Yellow fever vaccine recommended. Brazil doesn't ask for a vaccination certificate. Yellow fever vaccination is recommended if you're visiting forests or rural areas: get it at least 10 days before you go. Some countries you visit next may ask for proof.
Declare cash over US$10,000. If you carry more than US$10,000 in cash, or the same in other currencies, fill in the online customs declaration (e-DBV) and show it when you arrive.
